Art Journal Hop/Swap |
2. I'm so very glad that it is Friday. I am looking forward to hibernate this weekend before the baby little goes back to college. Deep breath here because it has been very nice to have everyone under the same roof...most of the time!
3. It's a winter wonderland out there with a surprise snowfall overnight. Another 2 inches. Still putting Christmas away. Don't like this part because the lights look wonderful in the snow.
4. Finally put new tires on the vehicle for I have been sliding all over town. And while as a kid I remember saying to my Dad, "yay, do it again" when sliding all over in bad weather, definitely not into it now.
5. Guess we have to watch football without my team...STEELERS...and I'm totally bummed about that.
Linking up for Random 5 Friday with Nancy and the gang. Please stop by to say "HEY"!!!
What a fun project.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to have gotten Christmas put away. I'm enjoying the normalness of the New Year.
I'm not much into Football anymore but use to be a huge Raiders fan and sorry but the Steelers were a team I rooted against back then.
We bought snow tires 2 years ago and have barely had to use them. (Knock on Wood).
Thanks for stopping by.
My Christmas has been put away for a week but I do hear you on the lights. Exterior lights give such a happy glow in the bleak mid-winter, don't they?
ReplyDeleteI didn't not make a fuss about Christmas decoration so I am done cleaning up :-)
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, I wouldn't like to slid and slide all over the road either. My nerves will break!
A journal hop/swap .... now that sounds interesting!
ReplyDeleteMy Christmas stuff was all put away by New Year's Day!
I am not a football fan :-/
We got 2 inches of snow early this morning ... it's just about all gone now! 56 degrees and rain tomorrow!
Happy New Year! diane @ aug's blog
glad to hear you got new tires. drink safely. happy trails. i think that is what they say??! ha. ha!! ( :
ReplyDeleteI got new tires last year and feel so much safer I must say!
ReplyDeleteWe only have a little tree we put up every year -- takes about 2 minutes to unplug and put back in the closet. :)
I agree lovely to have the college ones home. I miss my quiet time when she is home, but it was too quiet yesterday after she left. Where is the happy medium?
ReplyDeleteYay for the new tires! Enjoy your time with family while they are home.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog!
That journal hop sounds fun. Isn't it fun waking up to new snow? I loved it when I woke up in the morning and sun is extra bright and cheery and all the light reflects back into your room. Enjoy your college kiddo for the time remaining.
ReplyDeleteA Journal hop sounds fun. I have an Art Journal that I work in. But I don't share too much of it. My Art work is not the greatest.
ReplyDeleteHugs~
I just finished putting away the last of the christmas stuff yesterday. Taking down the tree and lights always seems to make everything look all normal and glum.
ReplyDeleteYay ob the new tires! Makes such a difference, no?
Sorry to hear holiday visits are coming to an end. I could never decide if a visit coming to an end is harder when you are the host or the visitor. When visiting and then leaving , there's the lonely, quiet travel time and when hosting and guests leave , the house feels empty and boring. At least you got a nice long visit!
Have a great week!
That sounds like a terrific project. Have fun!
