Strut Your Art Stuff
Once again, old man winter gets to participate in this year's LIBERATE YOUR ART POSTCARD SWAP hosted by KAT SLOMA @ KATEYESTUDIO! This is the decorated envie that holds my cool postcards of Dante the horse strutting his stuff in the snow! I will show my postcard, as well as the ones I receive in the swap...from all over the world! This is my 5th year in the swap, and I can't wait to see what I get!!! Thank you, Kat!

It all goes by so fast...
The holidays come and then they go...and all too quickly! It was a wonderful, beautiful time with family and friends, and I am completely exhausted, yet excited to get back into the studio to create...something! And I have many "somethings" on the agenda to tackle!
# 1 on this list is the altered book/scrapbook that I started last year for my island brother of our time together in Hawaii....with our lovely Mama on the cover of James A. Michener's book titled...HAWAII!
Here's how it all started...Altered Book/Hawaii
Onward in 2018...for more of my "creative chaos"!
Yep, that's my middle name!
Aloha...and mahalo for stopping by!

Holiday Tag Swap
Here are a few tags I made for an online tag swap...I had fun with them, even though it was a last minute thing.
Can't wait to see what I get in return from EC!
It's crazy how quickly we are dropped right into the holiday season that is Christmas. And, with 4 more journals laid out, and so little time before the next event...well, I am hopeful!
So, what are you working on?

The Calm Before the Storm
And by storm, I am not referring to the weather.
I won't even show you what this lovely desktop workspace looks like now. Mostly because I can't find it amidst all the
CREATIVE CHAOS! Yep, that's my middle name!
Hope ya'll are working on something cool for the holidays!
It's been a while since I have posted...life is that way...and death in the midst is all a part of it. But we go on, with good memories to keep us afloat!
Stop back soon...I'll show you what comes from the storm!
ALOHA!

For the Birds...
This little journal was inspired by a friend who loves birds. She has nursed birds at her home, and feeds them year round with many, many bird feeders. She has a beloved parakeet, Mae, who is quite vocal in the morning. Also, she teaches CREATIVE WRITING, and I thought what a great tool this little book would be to prompt just that...creative writing...or perhaps jot down your greatest joys or secrets. I have gifted her a special journal complete with feathers, and I can't wait to see what great tale it holds within!
This little journal measures 4-1/2" x 6" and has 36 blank coffee dyed pages, contains a couple pockets with journal cards/tags. I love making these, and no two are alike...

And it all ties up with a black suede strap to
keep your secrets safe...

So, let's hear it...what is your short story about?

What's her name?
Here's a little journal I made, inspired by a tag that came with an order of "crow bags" from Sherrie Cox.
The thing is...I can't figure out what to name the vintage lady on the cover. Any ideas? Please leave me a comment about what her name should be!
With coffee stained pages, and a few tuck spots, a couple tags, there is plenty of room to
"write creatively".
This little book measures 4-1/2" x 6", 40 pages, and it would love to hold your secrets...or a short story!
