Are We Having Fun Yet???

And it just keeps on snowing...  I love it!

Perfect weather for watching the Winter Olympic Games.  Though my whole body aches after watching some of those thrill seekers!  I think I cracked a few ribs just watching the moguls....and oh my aching back...and knees...  Time to hit the hot tub!

This is the kind of snow storm I remember as a kid.  Of course, when you're all of 7 years old, 2 feet of snow is a mountain.  And now, outside with some snow drifts and piles well over 15 feet, well, I just have to go out and giggle in it!  It's great fun!

I feel sad for those who have never experienced snow!  I mean this is just beautiful!
Of course, I didn't have to go out and drive in it or plow.  But I don't mind shoveling...for a few minutes anyway.  It's good exercise, and the air is clean and very crisp, for sure!

I just love my little fine feathered friends!

  1. Here in Prague a snow is expected in the winter, but this year we only had a few days of it :(
However, I'm still in the sofa enjoying the winter olympics and blogging ;)

  7. I don't know where you live, but we have about the same amount of snow! Nice shots. Funny, I thought the same thing about people skiing the moguls...big ouch to the hips, knees and back.

  9. I'm tired of this snow. I almost cried this morning when I got up and saw that it was snowing for the 3rd day in a row.

  10. Sweet to read a post, written by someone who is still enjoying the snow fall.

But I think you are someone, who enjoys whatever weather is around, at any time. A wonderful ability. A Wise one too. So Wise.

I can't imagine never experiencing snow. Or the full 4 Seasons. I'm so happy I was born, where we have all 4 Seasons.

  11. Oh, I miss snow, SO much...there is a trade-off, though, with 127 degree temps in the summer occasionally, when you guys are comfortable. LOVE the little birdy feet in the snow - hope it warms up soon for you...Happy Saturday! Tanya

  13. You sure have an interesting blog here. I'll have to go back and look at some of the things you've done with books. But right now, its refreshing to meet someone who is so delighted with this winter. Helps my rather negative perspective. Thanks for stopping by my blog, I look forward to visiting often.
