Textured PASSION

This little book of vintage goods measures 4 1/2" square.  I used so many different scraps from my stash, and I am quite pleased with it.
front and back cover

A few tuck spots with tags to journal on.

The fun thing about having a stash at the ready, is sometimes "it" dictates to you what "it" wants to be used for.  And that is pretty much what took place with this little fiber fest.

A couple spots to journal your secret passion...

There is something so special about a fragile piece of antique lace. And this little bit of pink was screaming at me... and when I sewed it to a sliver of an old scrap of linen, a page of vintage pictures appeared.  That is when this book came to be titled...PASSION!

Another journaling spot.

Thanks for stopping by...
I've really been enjoying using up my stash making these

Mini Nature Fiber Fest

Mini Nature Journal
This mini journal measures approx. 4 1/2 inches square, and is full of fibers and papers, and feathers and buttons.  And now that Spring has finally sprung here in the northeast US, out of doors is the place to be one with Nature.   Thanks to Nina of Happy Herbs Soap at Two Crow Cottage for the clay feather on the cover.  And to Kitty and Sandy Rosebud for sharing some of their fiber goodies.

A little Passion for Nature...

Here are a few pages, a WIP, for the upcoming Mother's Day Festival.  These pages are double sided, and will be folded in half to form...A mini book of my Passion for Nature.
With coffee dyed gauze, suede scraps, lace,
and so much more.
It's a fiber fest...for sure!  Birds, bees, flowers, trees, and my favorite thing to make with old book pages...butterflies!
If you truly love nature, you will find beauty everywhere ~ Vincent Van Gogh
These pages will be sewn together, and tied up with ribbon!
Stay tuned for the finished piece...
